Accessibility Testing

Sonet Web provides website accessibility testing and audit reports comprising website accessibility and usability checkpoints and recommendations.

The evaluation starts with a website audit that tests every page, every programatic element, every image, all links and text in your website for the basic minimum WCAG 1.0 Level-A compliance all the way through to Level Triple-A compliance.

The website accessibility audit uses the principles as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines for accessibility. We check the site for WCAG 1.0 Level-A (accessibility options which must be implemented) and advise whether levels Double-A ( should be implemented) and Triple-A ( may be implemented) .

We ensure that sites pass validation by 'Cynthia Says', 'Bobby' and the W3C.

When performing a website evaluation Sonet Web also checks for website maintenance issues such as coding issues, content and graphics against current standards and that your website can be viewed in the most popular browsers such as Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape and Mozilla.

Website Accessibility Testing:

• A thorough analysis of your company or organisation's website for accessibility and usability
• A complete analysis of your website's coding against current guidelines for validation
• Content check, and graphics analysis
• Meta-data and search engine readiness check
