I am the founder of Tolra Micro Systems Ltd and provide the web hosting and servers for Sonet Digital and their clients.
TOLRA Micro Systems Limited was created in 1997 offering web development services followed shortly afterwards with the addition of website hosting to cater to those clients who simply wanted a hosting service that worked! We expanded our business to offer servers in both the U.K. and U.S.A. in order to provide the best possible platforms for SEO's to market their client sites worldwide.
I began my career in the aviation industry building functional prototype displays for human factor analysis. This type of work has allowed me a deep understanding of the importance of continual client collaboration for the duration of a project. I have extensive experience in C/C++ which provided a sound foundation for expanding to PHP and MySQL development which is now almost exclusively my development platform.
Along with Sonet Digital, we at TOLRA Micro Systems also understand the need for industry standards, and thus comply with those requirements laid out by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
Through the exploration and use of mobile technology I've been able to free myself from the traditional office desk while maintaining an exemplary level of customer service.
When I'm not engrossed in analysing a new technique or technology I can be found in the great outdoors, travelling the World and enjoying all that has to offer. Horse riding is also a valued past-time.
And then there's the other end of the spectrum when I have to get my head deep into the intricate world of online gaming - more specifically first person shooter games such as Quake War and Quake Live – it's a whole other world!
