Finally after many years concentrating on our clients we have decided to rebrand. It has been on the cards for a long time. Within the next five weeks we will be moving to our new home at Sonet Digital. There we will be offering the same services and even more including online brand awareness, and graphic arts. 2009 was a busy year for Southbourne.com and we completed several large projects that included some advanced search engine marketing work, website and portal builds. Nothing has changed in 2010 and we started the year running.

Recently we completed a large scale website Bullock and Lees a Bournemouth estate agency. The site utilizes a robust content management system that allows the company to upload properties for sale and rent and modify major elements within the site. The latest social media networking tools have also been integrated and include Twitter, myJournal, and Facebook.

Our continuous build with the myJournal social networking portal for businesses took a large part of our time. As it’s now in the fourth beta public stage we foresee another two stages before full applications have been developed.

Other websites include the Cavendish Hotel, Wentworth Clinic, and a diverse search engine marketing campaigns for various industry.

A project that we have been developing for a couple of years is now released to the public. myJournal.com has been built to be a business social network that provides companies, professional individuals and business owners with some very neat tools to promote their business online. Applications include business and personal blogs, networking tools, company and personal profiles, a virtual showroom to show products and services, video broadcasting and much more. The network is still in beta and currently invitation is by invite only - use our contact form if you want an invite.

Recently we completed the build for ITCM a company that creates innovative technology for the packaging industry. The website validates to W3C guidelines and features a content management system which lets the marketing staff at ITCM upload images of products and content easily and quickly. The site also features case studes of custom machinery and in-depth information on career opportunities for engineers and students.

A recent website to go live is Mobility Products a project that provides information for seniors and people with disabilities - where to find the best scooters, walk-in-baths, and price comparison for disability products. The website was built to be accessible and can be viewed by special screen readers.

Sonet Digital anounces third and final build of the beta stage of myJournal scheduled for a 'soft release' in May 2008. The first release of the business & social networking system will feature full profile pages, blog/journal, product showroom, gallery, and a interactive network system.

Sonet Digital completes build for Wraps UK a shrink wrapping machine manufacturing company. The website has fully integrated blog/journal that will feature the latest company, and industry news. The site was built to provide a clean look and feel with easy navigation of core products. Site can be viewed at www.wrapsuk.com.

Sonet Digital signs a deal to brand SPX Hair products, services include the re-brand online, website ecommerce build, SEO Services, redesign of the SPX Evolution Styler hair straightener including the packaging design, print, brand development, and online advertising of the SPX evolution. First release scheduled for June 2008.

Southbourne Internet redesigned and re-branded Mayer Interactive to Current Digital. The site utilizes a Wordpress backend and features their company blog, and other interactive areas such as podcast and video. The Current Digital team provides full digital media services including advertising and PPC campaigns.

Design and build of the e-commerce site Guanaco. The site features stylish imagery of Guanaco, Alpaca, and Vicuna scarves, and shawls. The website also features a full CMS with shopping system.

Utilizing the Sonet Digital design team, the release of Wentworth Clinic's website is now live. Built to provide information about their services to existing clients and enhance their profile to new customers. The website compliments their approach of natural beauty and simplicity.

A new version of the Web Accessibility Toolbar has been released and ready for download. There are many new features including upgrades to existing features and support for IE7 and Windows Vista.

Sonet Web have signed to manage and author the build of myJournal a new business and social network community of blogs. Sonet Web will manage the project with other key-developers for design, brand, digital marketing and architecture. The myJournal.com portal will go live in May 2008.

Sonet Web have completed the second phase of the Langtry Manor Hotel website. The new design went live with a more modern feel while preserving the Edwardian styling in its images. The website gives information about the local area of Bournemouth and the Langtry Manor Hotel.

comScore Networks have released a report on consumer online non-travel (retail) spending at U.S. sites during 2006, including the holiday season (November 1, 2006 – December 31, 2006). For the full year 2006, online retail spending reached $102.1 billion, marking a 24-percent increase versus 2005. Online holiday e-commerce accounted for $24.6 billion, up 26 percent versus last year.

The Search and Go online weather reports provides up-to-the-minute global weather forecast. Utilizing Google mapping it it provides live feeds of weather data with interactive mapping zoom features. Southbourne Internet authored and managed the project working with several web development companies to achieve the first phase.

Southbourne Internet redesigned the website for Marden Edwards providing the group with a clean, modern search engine friendly design that disseminates information about their core product of overwrapping and packaging machines . The project is an ongoing solution that will include online advertising and SEO work.

Southbourne Internet has signed a deal with SAGO Ltd to complete and manage the third stage and fourth stages of the Search and Go Special Features protal. Southbourne Internet will author the news section, directory and manage online project development for SAGO. Duties will include the hiring and managing of web development companies to build core modules of the portal.

Southbourne Internet has signed to redesign the Langtry Manor website to bring its design up-to-date and manage it's search engine marketing campaign. Due dates for the release of the new Langtry website will be January 2007.
